Frequently Asked Questions Can't find my Advert on all websites When looking for your advert on the various websites please enter your vehicle details
exactly the same as sent to us e.g. BMW 318i and NOT, BMW 3series.
How do I Amend my Advert?
After you place
your advert with us there may be times when you need to make
certain changes to it. For example, you may wish to lower your
asking price, add details to the description of your car or
add a photo.
Updating
your advert is easy. Simply click the 'My Account' link on our
mainpage. You will then be asked to enter your advert
OrderID and the Make of the car you are selling. This
will load your advert into the screen. From here you are
able to click the amend Details button and change any part of
your advert.
You
can amend your advert as many times as you wish. All changes
will take affect within 24 hours on
ALL
websites. Please note we are unable to amend any
Magazine adverts once they have been sent.
How do I Add a Photo to My Advert? If
you have already placed your advert with DesperateSeller and now wish to add
a photo simply click on the 'My Account'
link in the menu and use your OrderID
to log in. Once you are logged in click on the Add Photo option. Once your
photo is received they will be added to your advert within 12 hours. If you
have not yet placed an advert with DesperateSeller you will be given the
chance to do so when you are completing the advert form.
I have Uploaded my Photo but I can't see it?
If when you have added a photo through
the My Account section but are unable to see your photo please
click the Refresh button on your browser window a few
times. This will reload the page and display your
photo. The majority of
internet browser store pages as they were last viewed. By clicking the
refresh button the page is loaded from new making sure that it catches any
changes made.
How do I Delete My Advert once Sold?
Once you have sold your car return to desperateseller.com
and click on the 'My Account' Link on the left hand side
menu. To delete your advert simply enter your OrderID
and Make of Car into the login boxes. Once you have
click the Login Button your advert will appear on the
screen. Click on the Delete Advert button then confirm
you wish to deleted your advert by clicking 'ok' on the pop-up
box. Your advert wil have then been deleted from all
advertising companies.
I wasn't able to Pay for My Advert
If you have already placed your advert but for whatever reason was unable to make payment
please click on the 'My Account' Link on the left hand side of the
menu. You will be asked to enter the OrderID assigned to your advert
and the make of the car you are selling. On clicking the Login
button your advert details will appear on the screen. To make
payment simply click on the 'Make Payment' button at the bottom of the
page and follow the instructions.
